## Guard types
- Screen and mesh: blocks leaves, lets some pine needles and grit through, lowest cost.
- Micro-mesh: fine stainless mesh that blocks nearly everything while letting water through, usually the priciest and most popular.
- Reverse curve: water wraps the nose of the guard and debris falls past, professionally installed.
- Foam and brush: sits inside the gutter, budget option, weaker on fine debris.
